Sports Philosophy

At Andrada, we believe participating in athletics is important in developing strong character, school spirit, and skills that benefit each participant for a lifetime. We believe that Athletic participation enhances the learning experience and encourages our student athletes to value the skills and knowledge gained in the classroom and on the field of competition.

We are prioritizing our Athletics program and are dedicated to creating a competitive program for each sport. Our goal is to develop every athlete to be able to compete at a collegiate level when they graduate if they so desire.

Andrada is part of The Arizona Interscholastic Association’s “Pursuing Victory With Honor” initiative. This transformative initiative focused on developing the character of each athlete through their 6 pillars: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.

If a sport you are interested in isn’t available at Andrada, please let us know. We are working to expand this program every year, based on student interest and availability.

These programs run through the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA). Students must have physical evaluations on file in order to compete, and pay their participation fees prior to competition.

Winter Sports is underway!

Andrada utilizes Register My Athlete to manage all Andrada athletic team registrations. Follow the step-by-step instructions linked below. New athletes will need to create an account. If you have an existing account, log in and choose the appropriate sport you are planning to participate in. All required paperwork for the 2024-2025 school year is available once you log into the system.

Option #1: Come into the Bookstore and pay your fees. Reach out to our Bookstore Point of Contact: Maricela Abyeta.

Option #2: Pay using Tax Credits: https://az-vail-lite.intouchreceipting.com/

Arizona tax law allows taxpayers a TAX CREDIT of up to $400.00 for married filing jointly or $200 for single filers if they contribute to extracurricular activities in public schools. This tax credit is available only to Arizona residents and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
